These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you”) and Adventure Clinic (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), concerning your use of http://www.adventureclinic.com and related media, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using our Site, services, courses, or adventure trips, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
1. Eligibility
- The Site and all Adventure Clinic activities are primarily intended for users aged 18 or over.
- Minors may participate in courses or trips only if accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian throughout the activity. Minors cannot book independently.
- All participants, including minors and their guardians, must have the legal capacity to enter binding agreements and comply with these Terms.
- By booking or participating, the parent or guardian confirms they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms on behalf of the minor participant.
2. Booking, Payment, and Cancellation
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of £50 per person is required to secure a booking.
- Full Payment: The remaining balance must be paid before the event. Failure to pay may result in cancellation without refund of deposit.
- Booking Changes: Any changes must be requested in writing and are subject to availability.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by the person who made the booking. Charges apply as follows:

- Force Majeure: In the event of unavoidable circumstances outside our control (e.g., extreme weather, natural disaster, government restrictions), Adventure Clinic may be able to recoup up to 50% of the total price paid. We reserve the right to offer credit or alternative dates instead of refunds.
- By booking, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these conditions for themselves and any members of their group.
3. Liability and Risk
Adventure activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or property damage.
- Assumption of Risk: By participating, you accept full responsibility for your own safety and belongings.
- Limited Liability: Adventure Clinic and its staff, instructors, or agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, including injury, illness, or death, except where liability cannot be excluded under UK law.
- Insurance: Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain travel and activity insurance.
4. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Site (text, images, videos, software, logos) is owned or licensed by Adventure Clinic.
- You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only.
- Unauthorised copying, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.
5. User Conduct
By using the Site and services, you agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Use automated systems to access the Site.
- Upload content that is illegal, offensive, or infringing third-party rights.
- Harass or threaten other users or staff.
Violation may result in termination of access and legal action.
6. User-Generated Content
- You retain ownership of contributions (reviews, comments, media) but grant Adventure Clinic a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, or modify them.
- You warrant that your contributions do not infringe any third-party rights.
7. Third-Party Links and Advertising
- The Site may link to third-party content. Adventure Clinic is not responsible for accuracy or liability arising from third-party websites.
- Advertisers are solely responsible for their content and offerings.
8. Privacy
- Use of the Site constitutes acceptance of our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
- Data is stored and processed in the UK. By using the Site, you consent to this.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by UK law.
- For EU consumers, statutory rights under local law apply.
- Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved informally for 30 days, followed by binding arbitration under the European Court of Arbitration rules in London, UK.
- Certain disputes (e.g., intellectual property, injunctive relief) are exempt from arbitration.
10. Force Majeure
Adventure Clinic is not liable for cancellation or non-performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions or emergencies
- Acts of terrorism
We may provide a partial refund or credit (up to 50% of the total booking) at our discretion.
11. Miscellaneous
- Electronic communications, transactions, and signatures are valid and binding.
- Any errors on the Site (pricing, availability, description) may be corrected without notice.
- We reserve the right to modify the Site, these Terms, or any content at any time.
- If any provision is found invalid, the remainder shall remain enforceable.
