Meet Pat and welcome to Adventure Clinic

  • Pat

Yeah, hello! I guess this is a section of my travel blog, where I should introduce myself. Welcome to Adventure Clinic!

Meet Pat

My name is Pat, Patryk to be precise. Currently, I live in London. However, let’s start from the beginning though.

I was born in a small town in Poland, Sanok. It is a fabulous, quiet town in the Bieszczady Mountains, among the lakes and woodlands. Apparently I am another Pole on your way. Brought up in Poland, lived in Chech Republic, Slovakia, Italy for some time and now London, England.

As a rebel teenager, skateboarding and snowboarding to the sounds of Pennywise, Green Day, Papa Roach I have travelled across Europe thanks to my parents. They planned every leg of our journeys. Moreover, they listened to mine and my younger brother’s requests. His name is Jarek, by the way, and he is now in Iceland snowboarding glaciers! Sick! I managed to skate in Spain, Italy, Croatia, Slovakia, France, Monaco, and a few other spots. How cool is that?! Thanks, Mom and Dad!

What are my travel habits?

Since I can remember I was always organizing my own time, planned my adventures and travel. It is my parent’s legacy. I chose the all-inclusive holidays once. Luckily that was the first and the last time! Anyway, good travel stories to tell you at some point, welcome to Adventure Clinic.

In Uni I picked up a professional path for my snowboarding. Yeap, I am snowboarding since roughly 1999. Got my instructor certificate sorted and seasonal job in the Alps as a rep and instructor for many years.

I am travelling as much as possible. One adventure after another. From skateboarding, skiing and snowboarding, through sailing and wakeboarding to trekking, camping and climbing

What’s next?

I am working my way slowly towards location independent lifestyle as the next significant step.
The next idea is to sort out microvan, convert it into a micro stealth campervan, so I can work and travel at the same time. Well, learn to surf and kitesurf, work and travel.

This is the plan for the next year. Time will tell if I will succeed.
